[omniORB] compiling omniORB on Solaris

I am attempting to compile omniORB on Sol8 using Forte 6.0.

I read the caveat about the Sun compiler, however I cannot even get that
far.

I get complaints attempting to make...

make[3]: Entering directory `/lnxmain/cvsomni/omni/src/tool/omniidl/cxx'

make[3]: *** No rule to make target `/usr/include/features.h', needed by
`idlast.d'.  Stop.


I have no features.h tho SUNWspro is installed.

This file is included in glibc on Linux.  Can anybody tell me how builds
are done (even with Sparc Compiler 4.2).
I am sure that has not changed.
