Hey everyone,

I hope you all had a good holiday and had plenty of opportunities to
take some good photos. I just thought I'd email you with all the latest
news of what's planned this term. First of all, you might have noticed
one of the big photos has been taken down in the bar leaving our photo
frames ready to be put up (hopefully) within the next week. This means
we need to get together to decide which photos to put up there. I
thought an appropriate first theme might be Queens' so gather a few of
your favourite college photos together to bring to the next meeting,
which brings us nicely to our next topic...It would be good to have a
couple of photo sharing sessions this term (mainly to decide on photos
to put up in the bar) so maybe we could have our first one sometime next
week - perhaps on Monday or Tuesday afternoon/evening after lectures.

I've also spoken to the college librarian and she's happy for us to
visit the old library in a couple of weeks which will be a great photo
taking opportunity. I'll let you know the details once they have been
finalised. It would also be great if someone could volunteer to organise
a few other workshops/photo trips (portraits for example) so please let
me know if you have time.

The biggest task for this term however is our annual exhibition! For
anyone who didn't see it last year, it involves getting about 25 of our
favourite photos blown up to A1 size (which you get to take home
yourself afterwards) and then hang them in the buttery in the last half
of this term. Its a massive undertaking and will need the whole society
to help out so start thinking about which photos you would like to submit.

I'll email soon with some more concrete information about all of this
but please email me back to let me know if you can make it either on
Monday or Tuesday as soon as you can.

Matt
