Sending large chunks of opaque binary arguments usually helps. That way the
CPU spends less time per transmitted byte marshalling data.

Subject: [omniORB] weak data transfer rate on not powerful embedded system

Hi,
We are using omniORB 4 on an Axis MCM Etrax chip (embedded system
with Linux 2.4).
We recently notice that the transfer rate is really weak ! (near 3Mbps
on
an interface 100Mbps full duplex !)
Is there something to do to increase it ? (compiling options or command
line options ?)
All suggestions will be welcomed!
Thanks in advance
Cheers,
Thierry DESCOMBES
