[omniORB] omniIFR Status?

   I ran into a query on comp.object.corba about omniORB and an interface
repository:

I remembered omniifr, and found the SourceForge page, but it looks like
it hasn't had much attention lately, and I've never tried it myself. Has
anyone tried it lately? It seems fairly small, so if it works, it would
be nice to have it included with the main distribution.
