[omniORB] Firewall/NAT piercing

Hi there,

 I believe, the most general is to employ a firewall proxy
for this sort of thing. There are obviously problems with
this approach. The proxy needs to be pretty bullet proof,
it also needs to be capable of handling generic CORBA
requests, so it would have to rely on DII/DSI, or one will
have to update it, should a single interface, it forwards,
change. A proxy has to be quite fast to prevent it from
becoming a bottle neck, since all trafic has to pass through
it, and it would most likely also need to be statefull and
enforce access control of and possibly provide fault
tolerance for incoming requests.
 The general solution is a very interesting project. Any
one know of a really good book on DII/DSI?
