You can remember the entire OMG specification?!  It's too big
and complicated for me to remember. :)

Best bet is to look up the standard and check for yourself:

Omniorb 3.0 has the most conformant IDL compiler I've ever seen, so
chances are, if omniidl 3.0 refuses to compile your IDL file, it violates
the spec.
