Hello Croonen Davy,

Thanks for sending the workspace files. These files would definitely
help us to track down problems regarding memory leak in our
applications.

But it seems that we dont have one of the 3 omniORB library files that
you mentioned. We dont have omnithread401_rtd.lib. Instead we have
omnithread30_rt.lib and omnithread30_rtd.lib.

Could you tell us from where to get omnithread401_rtd.lib library file?

Regards,
Ameya.

Hi,

Here is my workspace (.dsw) file and project file (.dsp).
I'm currently using WinXP, VC6 and omniORB4.0.3, this will not differ
much for your settings except that you must link against the
omniORB401_rtd.lib,omnithread401_rtd.lib,omniDynamic401_rtd.lib
libraries instead of the omniORB403_rtd.lib,
omnithread403_rtd.lib,omniDynamic403_rtd.lib libraries. You can make
these settings at project->settings.

I hope this helped you.

Subject: [omniORB] Need VC6 workspace file

Hello,

We are using omniORB v4.0.1, VC6 and Win2K OS. We have been experiencing
memory leaks in our applications.

We therefore used the sample code from the omniORB documentation, tested
this sample code and found that there is NO memory leak on execution. We
believe that the memory leak in our applications is due to improper
settings in our VC6 environment.

We believe that if we get a working VC6 workspace “.dsp” file, we would
then be able to compare it with our workspace file, identify the missing
settings and would be able to resolve memory leak issue.

Could anyone, who has been successfully using omniORB v4.0.1 on Win2K
and VC6, send their workspace file “.dsp”?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Ameya.
