[omniORB] omniORB.CORBA.NO_MEMORY

I have a omniORBpy client of a third party CORBA API server (so no control
over what they send). The server tries to return an enormous list with the
result:

return _omnipy.invoke(self, "getOpenAlerts",
_0_NxAlerts_v1.Session._d_getOpenAlerts, args)
omniORB.CORBA.NO_MEMORY: Minor: 1230246912, Completed: COMPLETED_YES.

Can I configure omniORB to have more memory? Or is there another solution?
