[omniNotify] notifd crashes

Hello everybody,

we're running our application using omniORB 4.1.1 and  omniNotify 2.1 
under FreeBSD 6.3 . Now the notify-demon "notifd" is crashing 
infrequently every six weeks or so - we think it started after we 
migrated to a multiprocessor machine, but we're not even sure about that.

Trying to reproduce the crash in a test environment failed, running the 
demon under valgrind produced no results - hence the question: Has 
anyone out there made similar experiences? Any suggestions or help?
