[QueensPhoto] Hello

Hi everyone,

I hope you've all had a great summer and had a chance to take plenty of 
photos! Now that term has nearly started it would be good to get 
everyone together to set out our plans for the year. Is everyone free 
sometime next weekend? If everyone could let me know when they're free 
ASAP, I'll arrange something that suits as many people as possible. Make 
sure you look through your photos over the next week and pick out a few 
of your favourite summer snaps and bring them along. It looks like we 
should be able to get a permanent rotating exhibition up in the bar this 
term (Nick took the idea forward very slowly last term but Cat's really 
keen on it) and it would be good to get some of our best holiday photos 
up there to start it all off.

The other important thing is the Queens' freshers fair on Wednesday 
afternoon (I think its around 4-6pm but I'll check soon) and it would be 
really useful if anyone can give me a hand selling the photography 
society to the freshers. Give me an email to let me know whether you are 
free or not. Johannes (or any other grads), what's the best way to get 
more of the MCR to join?

Also don't forget the A3 printer is available for anyone to use and it 
would be good to see everyone's best photos printed for the next 
meeting. Its in my room (BB30) and feel free to knock on my door at any 
reasonable time to use it or send me an email to let me know when you 
want to use it for bigger jobs. We've got loads of A4 and A3 Satin paper 
and a clean paper trimmer and I'll make sure we have plenty of ink. I've 
also got the society's tripod and I bought a shutter release cable over 
the holiday which I don't mind people borrowing if you want to try some 
night photography.
