Dear All,

Firstly apologies for having taken so long to get this first real news to
you, but here it is.

Our first meeting was small, lets say, but we discussed some useful things
and decided on some financial priorities. We do not have a specific topic
to be focussing on, but would like to meet together bringing examples of
our work to discuss. May I suggest we do this on sunday 28th at 2pm in the
bar? Is this convenient? We can move it if the general concensus says so,
so do make use of this list if you have anything to say! Just bring any
thought provoking pictures or simply ones you like, I'm sure there are lots
of freshers among you with exciting new pictures.!

If you would like to have a theme, I was thinking it would be interesting
and educational to choose a subject, be it a place, thing or person, and
photograph it several times in different light or different times of day,
or in different ways. This can be a very interesting exercise and very eye
opening resulting in a grest series of images. Maybe you already have such
a series you would like to show?

Lastly we have money!!

Developer, fixer, stop bath. 35mm film, medium format film....... £50

darkroom paper, inkjet photo paper, ink cart's ..................£100

tripod, cokin A-series polarising filter+holder+rings...........£160 these
are useful things for everyone to make use of/borrow but will belong to the
society. Not bad on the whole I think, lets make good use of it!

Hope you can all make it on the 28th!
See you then, Oliver
