Dear All,
I hope you have all had a very nice holiday and have come up with some
photographic masterpieces to put up for May Week! Last year's exhibition
was a great success and was enjoyed by all, it made the buttery a nicer
place for everyone. Again I'm hoping we can fill it with stunning A1-size
prints.
There will be no particular theme, we just want the best shots you've ever
taken. However, as last year's was mainly landscape/abstract based, it
would be nice if we could have a few more of people if you have them, don't
be shy of putting portraits up, but do ask your model first! A good
portrait or candid shot will always get people's attention!
So, could we have a meeting next Saturday 5th May at 2pm in the
conservatory/bar? Bring all the pictures you may think are suitable, as
many as you like, digital or film, colour or black and white, and we can
have a look at them and make a shortlist. If you have hard copy prints
that's great, but otherwise we can view them on screen. I think we can have
a maximum of about 25 prints.
As quite a few people have been using the darkroom this year, it would be
good to show some of those as well, so bring 'em along!
Let me know if that's a bad time, I want as many people to come as possible
to voice their opinions!
Until then, Oliver
