Dear Friends,

Hello hello, this is your new president speaking! I'm writing for a couple 
of reasons, firstly to introduce myself, and secondly to get things up and 
running before Christmas!

I have no idea how many of you there are out there, but I think it's about 
time something happened! To this end, I would like to arrange a meeting of 
the active and prospective members to discuss the course of events. I am 
responsible for arranging things in the first instance, but I think that 
it's very imortant that we all have a say in what happens within the 
society - I would like to meet you all and hear what your interests are so 
that I can arrange activities, events, and workshops around these 
interests.

I propose meeting in Queens' College Bar at 2pm. on Sunday the 13th, that's 
this coming weekend, it should be nice and quiet then. I hope you all can 
make it! If you cannot, please email me on 'ojb28' or pidgeonhole me 
(O.Beardon) and tell me what you're interests are and I will fill you in on 
what happens. If you have any queries or questions in the meantime, please 
do ask!
