Hi,

i am a student and i am working on my final exam.
At the moment i am studying the possibilities on how one
could implement an Replication mechanism with CORBA
and especially OmniOrb, as the company here uses it.

As OmniORB lacks features like an implementation repository,
and all the things mentioned in the Faulttolerant Chapter of COBRA-spec
3.0 ,
I just see an approach via Interceptors beside using Endpoint and
endPointNoListen
as described here
http://www.ciaranmchale.com/corba-explained-simply/proprietary-fault-tolerance.html
.

So my question is :
Anybody ever did something like this before and could give me a hint?
Is it possible to change a recipient of an IOR via the
Interceptor-concept ?

I appreciate any hint.

Best regards
Arne
