[omniORB] Possible bug in OmniORB 4.0.4

Hi,

I started to use OmnioORB 4.0.4 under Solaris 8 and found a
strange
problem when the other orb is OpenORB:

The OmniORB sends a request to the other orb with version 1.1
GIOP message but the reply comes in version 1.0  and OmniORB
drops the message with a "Protocol Error Message, garbage left
at the end of the message". I tried to use the lcd mode and
disabled
the strictIIOP flag but the error remained. The only
solution was to
use omniORB with maxGIOPVersion 1.0 settings.
Is it a normal working mode?
