[omniORB] Omniorb 4.0rc1, linux 2.4.18, and glibc-2.2

Hi,

When I try to compile Omni 4rc1 available from the repository, if fails 
with conflicting declarations for *crypt() function occuring in des.h 
and unistd.h included in SocketCollection.h.  How to avoid this?  Is 
there a fix?  I am not good at openssl and am new to omni, hence, I do 
not want to monkey around and break things.
