On my 100 Mb-full duplex(host-to-host)-ethernet network the server (a
Bi-PIII-500Mhz-NT4) sends a 980.5 Kb image (a sequence of bytes) to the
client (a Notebook-PIII-700Mhz-NT5) at up to 76.6 Mb/s (0.1s/image). The
average transfer rate is about 66 Mb/s. Both the client and the server run
omniORB 3.03.
Hope this will help.
Nicolas.
