No, definitely not. Our binaries are compiled on RH6.2, and almost
certainly don't work with RH7.

RedHat 6.2 is our main development platform. I have successfully run
omniORB on a RH 7.0 machine with all the compiler and libstdc++
patches, but only with very simple example programs.

One thought -- did you compile omniORB before you updated the compiler
packages?  If so, you should recompile it.
