[omniORB] multiple calls to same method

Is it possible that there is a timeout in the client CORBA =
implementation,
and that the first attempt at recovery is to retry the operation?

To discover if this is the case, you could try running the client and =
server
on different computers on a network, and running an ethernet snooping =
tool
(I've read about people using tcpdump and snoop on LINUX, but I've =
never
tried them).

Good Luck
Theo

Subject: [omniORB] multiple calls to same method

Hi,

we face the following interesting problem with omniORB 2.8.0 on linux =
glibc
2.1 (RedHat).

A client calls a method of an server-object. This call is a blocking =
call
and takes a while. After approximatily 2 minutes a new (second) thread =
is
started and the method is executed again, without a calling object =
anywhere!
We can guarantee that no client or server object is calling this method =
a
second time!

Does someone have a similar problem or any idea?

Thanks in advance.
