[omniORB] COMM_FAILURE in omniORB examples

Well, I have tried it two ways:
- running ./eg2_impl & in a window, then the
client
- running each in a seperate window
- running each in a seperate vterm

same results (at least it is a consistant
problem)

I know it has to be something simple
though....
