[omniORB] Problem starting name server

I had this interesting problem when trying to restart the name server.

The omniORB nameservice was not running after being shut down

I then attempted to restart
>cd /etc/init.d
>sh omniORB start

This gave an error,

'Error: parse error in log file '/var/log/omniORB/omninames.log' at line
xx

The solution would appear to be to create a new log file with the
following
contents:
port 32001
create 36be79529a65343300000002
create 36bf60f1d224cd5900000003
create 36bf60f1d224cd5900000005
create 36bf60f1d224cd5900000007
create 36bf60f1d224cd5900000009
create 36bf60f1d224cd590000000b
create 36bf60f1d224cd590000000d

We cut these lines from the backup /var/log/omniORB/omninames.bak (we
backup our log files between restarts).

Thanks for your help.

Paul
