Help: troubles running the examples

Hi,

I'm a new user of OmniORB and I'm trying to get it to work under Linux.

I use Slackware 3.2 (kernel 2.0.29, gcc 2.7.2.1) and installed
linuxthreads 0.6 (NOT 0.5)

OmniORB compiles fine (apart a lot of warnings) and so I proceeded to
compile the "echo" example.

The eg1 examples (client and server in the same process) works
correctly, eg2 and eg3 fail.

When I pass to eg2_clt the stringified IOR produced by eg3 I get a
system exception.

I removed the try/catch code and rerun eg2_clt under gdb.
Gdb tells me that __throw took place in ../include/omnithread.h:414

I also tried the examples/thread programs and they seems to work right
(as far as I understand them).

Any suggestion ?

As I'm to it I would also like to ask if someone has tested OmniORB with
the ORB client in the new Netscape browsers.

Many thanks in advance.
