Greetings,

The reading for today's email bulletin shall be taken from Luke 2:10. 'Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all photographers.'

1) Money offered for steady hand for Tom to get in touch with:
£20 on offer for filming a 45 minute concert in the Fitzwilliam Museum on the 14th of November:
http://www.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/whatson/music/ All equipment will be provided, all that's required is a steady hand. Anyone interested get
in touch with Tom White, tfmw2.

2) Reminder for Christmas Card Competition deadline:
You have until Saturday October 30th to email any submissions you may have for this competition. This will be the Christmas card that the Catering Department send to clients and
potential clients and so it does need to have Queens' College written on
it. In the past they have used winter scenes of the College and also Old Hall table settings, but they tell me they are open to fresh ideas. We've had no entries for this one as yet, so I think it might be a pretty easy prize to win...

3) Bar Photo Winners
After some pretty tough competition, the winning photos have been chosen.
Congratulations to all our ever-skilled photographers, and especially to Charlotte Runcie, Tom White and Helen Parker, whose contributions will be decorating the walls of QBar in all their glory before the week is out.

4) Workshops
There's been a really encouraging response to the workshop ideas, so I'm working on arranging them now. I'll keep you posted, but both the figure photography and darkroom workshops will be going on. Watch this space.
