Just a quick reminder that
the meeting is today at 4pm in the JCR room. We'll keep the meeting
short (finish by 5 at the very latest) so 1st years you have plenty of
time to get ready for the dinner tonight :-). We just need to get the
final selection of photos down to about 25 if we can. I was thinking
that 5 of the photos that we don't use could go up in the bar in the
next few days.

Also, I've found the box of foam board left outside the dark room for
the third time now and it's really not on. There's also trays of
developing chemicals left on the workbench which is even worse since it
fills the room with harmful vapours (that's why the fan has to be used
when someone's actually in the dark room). Whoever has left it like
this could you get it sorted out please. It's alright to leave the foam
board outside if you need a bit of extra space but it's expensive stuff
(£6.50 per sheet) and vital for the exhibition so it has to be put back
inside once you're done. Sorry, rant over :-)

Sorry about the delay in any more news - I just wanted to find out the
availability of printing before we went any further with deciding
exactly how many photos to display in the exhibition. The arts
committee meeting is tomorrow so that's where I'll get the official
funds for the project and we'll be able to decide exactly how many
photos we can afford to get printed. So, seeing as not many people
could make it last Saturday, perhaps we could meet on Sunday at the
same time we met last time (4pm for anyone who wasn't there) to make
the final choice and I'll send everything off to the printers the
following week.

Also, an update on the library visit - I asked the librarian yesterday
and she's still very keen for us to take photos but they've had to do
some maintenance in the room joining onto the old library resulting in
it being full of boxes. So she's suggested we rearrange the visit for
early next term instead if everyone's okay with that.

On that note, would anyone be up for taking photos in the presidents
lodge/long gallery if I can get permission at the meeting tomorrow?
Also let me know if there's anything else you want me to raise at the
committee. Apart from all that, I Lent term is going well for everyone
and I hope to see you all on Sunday.
