I was able to run gmake install for omniORB 4.2.1.-2 on Solaris 10 and got no errors.<br>
I have added the environmental variable OMNINAMES_DATADIR=/home/nps/omniORB-4.2.1-2/myORB/etc<br>
<br>
> pwd<br>
/home/nps/omniORB-4.2.1-2/myORB/etc/init.d<br>
<br>
myORB is the directory made where I performed ../configure, gmake, and gmake install<br>
<br>
I tried starting omniNames:<br>
> sh omniNames -start<br>
omniNames: /etc/rc.d/init.d/functions: not found<br>
<br>
Any help on fixing this is appreciated.<br>
