[omniORB] omniEvents push fails to connect (no peer name)

Hello All,

Please can anyone help with this problem?

When the supplier tries to push an event, nothing arrives at the consumer.

The consumer process runs on notebook under Windows 7. The supplier process 
runs on Linux host. All used to work fine some months ago; both platforms have 
since had system updates. Not sure when it stopped working as that part of the 
system has not been used for a while.

Suspect the problem is not in the consumer process, as the same code works 
properly elsewhere (on a different platform, and with a different supplier).

First significant-looking log error message occurs when consumer process starts 
up, i.e. when the proxy push supplier invokes
	connect_push_consumer(consumer->_this())
However, the consumer process receives no error and thinks it is connected; it 
just never sees any events, i.e. Consumer_i::push() is never called. I'm not 
sure why the event daemon needs to connect to the consumer at this point.

When the supplier push happens, a similar error message occurs:
	omniORB: Failed to connect (no peer name): 192.168.2.4
Not really sure what that error means; the consumer host name has been 
resolved OK.

Grateful for any hints on how to debug this.
