[omniORB] Problem connecting to sun's orbd

Duncan,

thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, there is no chance to get a log 
from the orbd, because it does not support logging at all. What I have 
attached with this mail is the output of the omniNames nameservice when 
a JAVA servant tries to connect but fails. This class can register 
itself successfully at the orbd but fails with omniNames.
Perhaps this can help to figure out what the orbd expects.
