[omniORB] Build of omniORBpy-3.0

I think you need omniORB-4.1.0-beta to build omniORBpy-3.0-beta. So you
would first have to build omniORB-4.1.0-beta to build the python one. Refer
to the readmes of both for details. I had earlier tried building both of
then using VC6 but it gave some problems so I used VC8 and the builds were
successful. Refer to my posting with subject "Help me in building omniOBR4.1
omniORBpy3.0 on Windows" for details.

Hello,

 

I've been trying to build omniORBpy-3.0-beta1 and omniORB-4.0.7 in a VC6
environment (Win2K). 

The compilation failed because the symbol LocalObject_ptr can't be found (I
search for it in the sources, but could not find such definition).


Has somebody a similar situation ?

 

( I use versions from the SourceForge download - have no posibility to
access the CVS online ).
