[omniORB] Any plans for IPv6 support?

Hi all,
I've got some background in CORBA but am new to omniORB in particular. I've gotten it operational with some test programs and like its features in general (particularly the good python & ssl support!). My biggest gripe right now is that it does not seem to support IPv6, particularly in setting -ORBendPoint on a servant and in using corbaloc: URI's on a client. I know about the syntax collisions with IPv6 addresses and the ':' chars used to delineate fields, but is there more to it than this? Also, if you had DNS that returned IPv6 address blocks, would omniORB 4.0.5 be able to handle the results? We don't immediately need IPv6 right now, but it will become more important as our project grows and it would be good to have CORBA working when there are no IPv4 addresses available.
