[omniORB] Compiling Omniorb

Sorry for my newbie question. I tried to compile omniorbpy and get the 
following error 
 
configure: error: You must specify the omniORB root directory. 
 
Omniorb is already installed on my system, but where can i find it. or 
better to say, where can i find that root directory of omniorb?
