PLEEZE! IT'S CALLED NAMESERVICE!

Which omniORB version are you actually using ? (I know you're using
the example from omniORB 2.8.x).

In the sample.cfg of omniORB 4.0.5 it looks like this:

  InitRef NameService=IOR:....
    -or-
  InitRef NameService=corbaloc::<hostname>:<portname>/NameService


Alternativley you could run that sample by passing

   -ORBInitRef NameService=corbaloc::<hostname>:<portname>/NameService
      -or-
   -ORBInitRef NameService=corbaloc::<hostname>:<portname>/NameService

as the commandline.
