Hi All,

I had ported omniORB 2.8 earlier to HPUX/PA-RISC 64-bits configuration without any major problems.

Now, I am moving to omniORB4 and running into issues.

Starting question: Has anyone tried it?

I've compiled and prepared Python 2.2.3 for 64-bits.

After making changes to hppa_hpux_11.00.mk, I get a build error:

aCC -c -O +DA2.0W -w +inst_v +DAportable -D_THREAD_SAFE -DRWSTD_MULTI_THREAD -DRW_MULTI_THREAD
  -DIDLMODULE_VERSION="\"0x2420\"" -I/usr/local/include -DPYTHON_INCLUDE="<python2.3/Python.h>
" +Z -I. -I. -I../../../../include -D__hppa__ -D__hpux__ -D__OSVERSION__=11 -ldir idlpython.cc
 -o idlpython.o
Error 119: "/usr/local/include/python2.3/pyport.h", line 554 # #error "LONG_BIT definition
appears wrong for platform (bad gcc/glibc config?)."
#error "LONG_BIT definition appears wrong for platform

Did I miss something?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Neeraj
