[omniORB] AIX 5.2 porting using g++

Hi all,
did anybody succeed in porting OmniORB 4.02 to AIX 5.2, using g++ 3.3.1 ?
A member of my team tried it with no luck while building OmniORB shared
libs, while simpler test case shlibs succeed.
Compilation is ok, but there is an infamous  "ld: 0711-317 ERROR: Undefined
symbol: typeinfo for omni_thread" linker error which blocks everythings. It
seems well known around the world, nevertheless we know no patch nor
workarounds.
