You'd be better putting the HAVE_STD define in
include/omniORB4/CORBA_sysdep_trad.h.

If you get the omniNotify from SourceForge CVS, you can use it with
autoconf. Unfortunately, you probably can't get anything from
SourceForge CVS, since it's been broken for anonymous access for a
while. You can get snapshot tarballs from
