[omniORB] java version of eg3-clnt problem....

Thanks Bjorn,

So that would be on the commond prompt instead of:

java EchoClnt3 -Dorg.omg.CORBA.ORBInitialHost=bslap -Dorg.
omg.CORBA.ORBInitialPort=2809

it would be:

java EchoClnt
-ORBInitRef.NameService=corbaloc::bslap:2809/NameService,

(or set a Proerties parameter in the java programme)

I know these are proably stupid questions, but i'm a relative newcomer to
CORBA and have only really used the JAVA thing.

Hi Andrew,

  It looks like, you are using the proprietary SUN bootstrap
method to locate the nameservice and as of omniORB4, support
for that is disabled by default. You could enable it of course,
but it would be a better idea not to use any proprietary
CORBA extension;) That is -ORBInitRef NameService=corbaloc/corbaname...

Yours sincerely,

Bjorn
