[omniORB] Choosing network interface used in IORs?

Platform: RedHat 7.2, omniORB 3.04

Is it possible to constrain the network address used when registering
an object with the omniORB naming service, to one particular address
(preferrably localhost)?

The problem is that the computer running both the naming service, and
the servants, has a virtual IP address in addition to eth0 and lo.

When that IP address goes away, the servants can no longer be
contacted.
