Can't say that I follow you. The client implements the PushConsumer
interface and registers itself with the server through the magic of
CORBA. Your clients don't know (or care) what platform the omniNotify
server is running on. The server doesn't know (or care) what platform
the consumers are running on.

As long as you have a unix host somewhere in your system you are
ready to go.
