[omniORB] Problems building on SGI/Irix

Hi,

I have been trying to build OmniORB4.0 on a SGI system running Irix 6.5.
The compiler I have tried is MIPSpro Compilers: Version 7.3.1.3m.

Have any of you had any success building omniORB4 on such a system, and 
if so could you please post instructions on how you did it ?

I end up with compiler errors when trying to build "the unix way"!

I did manage to build it (the old way ?) by going to the src directory 
and gmake export.  I did choose the platform = mips_irix_6.5_n32 in the 
config.mk file in the config directory. HOWEVER, this build gives seg. 
fault when trying to run any of the examples.  The link command is like:

CC -o eg1 -O2 -OPT:Olimit=0 -n32 -float -ansi -LANG:exceptions=ON -woff 
3303,1110,1182 -L../../../lib/mips_irix_6.5_n32 eg1.o 
../../../stub/echoSK.o -lomniORB4 -lomnithread -lpthread

Terminal output is as:
./eg1
Segmentation fault

Any suggestions ??
