Hello,

I recently installed and compiled omniORB on Linux-2.4.17. However, I am
attempting to configure the naming service, but I am having problems
starting the omniNames executable. I use the following command to start:

omniNames -start &
Then I receive the following error:
"omniNames: error while loading shared libaries:libomniORB4.so.0: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory."

I read the Readme files for unix and it mentioned to export a path for
libomniORB4.so and libthread libraries. I exported a path for the
libomniORB4.so library, since it only gripped about that one lib. But I am
still receiving the above message.

The reason I am using omniORB because I'm using Ethereal and it calls for
omniORB in order to fully use the CORBA plugins that I previously compiled.

Thanks in Advance.
Chauni
