Announcing the omniNotify 1.2 release.

See http://www.research.att.com/~ready/omniNotify/index.html

Source code and 3 binaries (Linux, Solaris, IRIX) are available via
the 'Download' link. Everyone is encouraged to upgrade.

If you use CVS, there are no major changes since the latest
bugfixes were announced, but it cannot hurt to do a
'cvs update'. ** Make sure you
are using the new CVS location for omniNotify:
cvsroot for omniNotify is now hosted at
cvs.research.att.com, as described in detail on
the Download page.

This new release rolls up the 6 bug fixes and various minor
changes that have been made since the 1.1 release. I
created it in part because I need to make a new brach
for omniNotify 2.x development and it seemed to make
sense to choose a stable 1.2 release as the branching point.

The plan is that omniNotify 2.x will work with omniORB4,
while omniNotify 1.x will only work with omniORB3.

There is a new ndadmin program in the examples directory.
It supports the same Interactive Mode supported by notifd via
the -i option. Thus, you can now start notifd without -i, and
at any time start up an ndadmin to interactively control it.
Note that 'exit' no longer destroys the server, it simply exits
the Interactive Mode. To destroy the server, use 'shutdown'.
