[omniORB] JacORB interoperability problem

Hi,

I had a normal JacORB Client running, everything worked. Trying to use the omniNotify, consuming
events did not work.

Some quote of the omniORB user manual:
"By default, omniORB uses the GIOP LOCATE_REQUEST message to verify the existence of an object prior
to the first invocation. If another vendor's ORB is known not to be able to handle this GIOP
message, set the viariable omniORB::verifyObjectExistsAndTyp to 0 to disable this feature, and hence
achieveinteroperability." (ch. 6.9)

After setting this variable to 0, consuming notifications in a push-push-model, while JacORB is the
consumer, is working. Is this interoperability problem known? JacORB to blame?

Regards,
_xanth.
