Oh dear. I don't have the time (or inclination) to maintain omniifr,
but I'm happy to host it in our CVS repository. I've exposed what I
think is the latest version, 1.1.4, to our public CVS. You can get it
with

  cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.omniorb.org/cvsroot login

password "cvs"

  cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.omniorb.org/cvsroot co omniifr

[ Note the new cvs.omniorb.org name, by the way. It's just an alias to
  cvs.uk.research.att.com. ]

We don't have the capacity to give people write access to our public
CVS, so if anyone has patches they'll have to send them to me. If
there is enough interest in people maintaining it, it might be better
to host it on Sourceforge or something.

To address the original question, the type of the top-level interface
repository object should be CORBA::Repository.

Cheers,

Duncan.
