Hi
when i try to build the omniORB library on solaris, the build stops giving the following error message:

Entering directory `/primal/data/OmniORB/omni/src/services/mklib'
../../../bin/sun4_sosV_5.7/omniidl -bcxx -Wba -Wbuse_quotes -DNOLONGLONG -I. -I../../../idl/COS ../../../idl/COS/CosLifeCycle.idl
omniidl: Could not import back-end `cxx'
omniidl: Maybe you need to use the -p option?
omniidl: (The error was `cannot import name header')
make[2]: *** [CosLifeCycleSK.cc] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/primal/data/OmniORB/omni/src/services/mklib'
make[1]: *** [export] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/primal/data/OmniORB/omni/src/services'
make: *** [export] Error 2

after this when i try to use omniidl , it gives the following error

omniidl: Could not import back-end `cxx'
omniidl: Maybe you need to use the -p option?
omniidl: (The error was `cannot import name header')

I have set my PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH correctly. The OS iam using is SunOS 5.8 and the gcc version i used to compile the sources is 2.95.2

thanks in advance for any help
