Sending it to this list is the right thing to do.

I don't know why such a weird thing is happening, unless your compiler
is broken. Are you using RedHat 7 by any chance?  If so, you need to
update lots of things before the compiler works.

If that isn't the problem, try running with command line arguments of
-ORBtraceLevel 30 -ORBtraceInvocations, and send us the trace.
