[omniORB] Error while running omniidl

Hi Patrick,

I thank you for your reply. I have set PYTHONPATH as per yopur suggestion.
It is much better
. I can invoke options by ./omniidl -u. But still I am not able to compile
sample echo.idl.

The error when I use ./omniidl echo.idl

Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix>
Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>
Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]

Could you please help me.

You should have set the following environment variable :

export
PYTHONPATH=/where_you_installed_omniORB/lib/python:/where_you_installed_omni
ORB/lib/sun4_sosV_5.5
