[omniORB] Linuxthreads vs. MIT pthreads ?

According to the OMNI Thread documentation, it has been implemented to work
with either Linuxthreads or MIT pthreads, but I was wondering if anyone has
any real-world experience with these.  Does OMNI Thread take a liking to one
versus the other?  I need to implement a pthreads library in an embedded
Linux environment, and I get to choose which one to use.  The main use of
this library would be just to support OMNI Thread.  So which would work
better?
