It appears that the default value for omniORB::diiThrowsSysExceptions is wrong, or at least in disagreement with the documentation in the 3.0.2 release. The documentation claims that, starting with 2.8.0, the default is TRUE. The actual value seems to be FALSE, as found in the static initialization in omniORB.cc -Chris Newbold Laurel Networks, Inc.
