[omniORB] Why there is no CORBA::is_nil(Any_ptr)?

Hello!

I wonder, why there is  no CORBA::is_nil(Any_ptr) function in omniORB? VisiBroker has it, and also there is a similar CORBA::is_nil(DynAny_ptr) function in omniORB too.
