[omniORB] problem in using omniidl

Strange. Have you installed omniidl somewhere by copying the files out
of the distribution?  If so, perhaps you've missed some bits out.

Try setting the environment variable PYTHONVERBOSE=1. That will print
out a huge amount of tracing, which might pin down where and why the
import is failing.
