[omniORB] cant i compilate omniORB without root privilage?

   Yes, though naturally you won't be able to install it in a
standard place (e.g. /usr/local) without root access. As long as
you set your PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, PYTHONPATH, etc., to point to
the right place, you should be fine.
